Mohawk Austin sits on Red River Street, in the heart of the city's longtime live music district, with an outdoor stage built into a tiered, multi-level patio and a more intimate indoor room for smaller shows. Arriving, you'll notice how the venue stacks its crowd up the hillside terraces facing the stage, giving the outdoor space a sightline that's hard to find elsewhere downtown.

Resound presents Austin based experimental avant-pop/electronic musician Bayonne on Saturday, October 24th! Bayonne's music captures the indescribable. For 10 years, the Austin, Texas-based experimental avant-pop/electronic musician, born Roger Sellers, has been creating atmospheric soundscapes brimming with layers, texture, and deep emotional resonance. On his fourth and most immersive album to date, Filters, Sellers picks up where he left us on 2023's mournful yet pop-minded Temporary Time. With its elegantly constructed melodies, silken synth-work, a sprinkle of field recordings, and an upbeat yet blissful blend of piano and percussion, Filters finds Sellers entering a new phase of existence as he works through the grief around losing his father and into a place of acceptance.

Terry Black's sits on Barton Springs Road in a barn-like space, where you'll order cafeteria-style at the counter, watching the pitmasters slice brisket by the pound straight off the butcher paper. It's worth arriving hungry and a little early, since the lines move steadily but the brisket and beef ribs can sell out before closing.

Set in the JW Marriott on downtown Austin's 2nd Street, Corner Restaurant leans into all-day American dining, opening early for breakfast and staying open late at the bar. Its corner spot puts you within easy walking distance of the convention center and the bars and music venues just a few blocks over.

Caroline is a downtown Austin all-day spot just off Congress Avenue, the kind of place you can drop into for coffee in the morning and still find humming with a dinner crowd late into the evening. Expect casual American plates and a relaxed, social atmosphere that leans more neighborhood hangout than formal restaurant.
